Early in the day, there was champagne flowing and laughter echoing down the halls. While Meredith’s mother steamed her veil, Meredith toasted her Maid of Honor and reminisced about old times. They’ve been friends nearly their whole lives, and that morning was all about laughing and joking and supporting each other. It was a beautiful morning filled with excitement, anticipation, and preparation.
One of the most beautiful moments was when Meredith’s father saw her for the first time. Dressed in her wedding gown, her father broke into tears, covered his mouth, and was momentarily speechless. The love swelled in the moment, and I was honored to be there behind the scenes. Anyone who meets Brian for the first time is going to like him instantly. He’s got a great smile, and he’s so easy going. And as soon as I found out he planned to wear Converse with his suit, I was sold. This was a groom ready to marry his bride and have fun at his own wedding.
After a round of portraits — which were a lot of fun! — it was time to make our way to Times Ten Cellars in Dallas. This is a gorgeous Dallas wedding venue. Outside, there is a great Texas feel with the cacti and limestone. And inside, the chandeliers, leather lounge chairs, and low lighting make for a perfect wedding location. Times Ten Cellars in Dallas is this great mix of classic winery ambiance with a modern Texas aesthetic. And the ceremony was nothing short of amazing and beautiful. The officiant had known Brian for years. And he performed an intimate and meaningful ceremony for Brian and Meredith. And everyone was so excited to see them married. As soon as their vows were spoken and their rings exchanged, the crowd got up and cheered.
They say that “Love is in the details,” and if that’s true, then there was a LOT of love at this reception. Everyone was in high spirits and ready to party. And Meredith spent a lot of time putting together the best of details. From their party favors, to their centerpieces, Meredith had thought of everything. And the live band?! Well, the live band was just fantastic.
And, really, this reception just turned into one big party. Which is the way we like it! Singing, dancing, toasting . . . it was all it’s height. Everyone was just so happy to be there, celebrating Brian and Meredith.
