“Every [wo]man should be allowed to love two cities,
[her] own and San Francisco.”
— Gene Fowler
I woke up this morning looking forward to a wonderful week ahead. We just finished up a shoot for Verily Magazine in San Francisco; we have an upcoming engagement session in Dallas; and a wedding in Austin! In five days, we’ll have been in three cities for work. My favorite aspect of this little business we’ve launched is the people we meet. My second favorite aspect is constantly being on the go — in the car or on a plane. I’m not one to enjoy sitting at a desk for too long.
And as the cooler weather rolls in, I’m finding myself giddy over fall flavors, sweaters & scarves, & the holiday season approaching.
As we’re getting ready to board a plane, I’m reminded of just how much I love the crisp freshness of fall: the fog, the fuzzy slippers, & steaming cups of cocoa. Although I suppose it actually marks the end of another year, it brings a sense of new beginnings. Summer is wrapping up. Sundresses and swimsuits will be shoved to the back of the closet in exchange for our favorite coats and scarves.
I hope you all are looking back on your summer, happy and fulfilled. And that this upcoming season is full of love & inspiration.
