Congratulations on your engagement & upcoming wedding, Rachel & Steven! We’re so thrilled to be there with the two of you, behind the scenes, capturing the quiet moments, the loud moments, & the unforgettable moments.
Their relationship is so obviously filled with fun. The whole session, the two of them were laughing, hugging, & paying waaaay more attention to each other than to me. And that’s the way I love it. Because then I get to capture who they really are together. And I recede into the background. It was a perfect evening spent with these two.
After hanging out near the beautiful bridges & pond in Old Settler’s Park, we found an old barn. It’s here, in that old barn as the sun was going down, that we found some beautiful light. And we had some quiet moments . . .
When Rachel & I first met to talk about her wedding & engagement photography, she told me she wanted to incorporate a baseball theme into their engagement session. Steven used to play professional baseball in Maryland. And now, in Texas, he started an organization that works with aspiring baseball players, helping them to gain scholarships & improve their skills.
So we decided to begin their session at Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock. And then at the end of the session, we went to Stony Point High School, where their love began, & we took photos while they played baseball.
